    Promoting the concept of Omoiyara.
  • I was recently invited to be involved in a very special charity exhibition in aid of Japan's earthquake relief fund, held at the wonderful DogA Gallery in Oslo, Norway. The exhibition was curated by Japanese artist Fumiko Ito (who now lives in Oslo) and brought together some amazing talent from Norway, Japan and the rest of the world making up 100 artists, designers and architects, each of which designed a poster for the show. My piece is entitled 'Omoiyara' which is the Japanese word for thinking kindly about other people, or doing something selfless for another.

The exhibition took place on May 20th and 21st and there will soon be an online store selling any leftover posters. In the meantime you can read more on the Posters For Japan website and on their Facebook page.
